Conserves Obiols is a small family business devoted to make tinned mushrooms and truffles, as well as to buy and sell these products fresh.
From its foundation up to now, it has succeeded in keeping the essence of a family business with quite noticeable values: handicraft, quality and awareness of local food. This is due to the effort and dedication of two generations to ensure the quality during the whole process of purchase, manufacture and sale of our wide range of products.
Obiols family wanted to follow in the footsteps of their founder, Josep Obiols, who took the initiative in buying and selling fresh mushrooms and truffles in the mid sixties in Alinyà, a little town in the Pre-Pyrenees. It was in the early eighties when this family began to manufacture tinned food. Then they move to Organyà, also located in the region of Alt Urgell.
The management of the company was handed down to the next generation, from parent to children, but Conserves Obiols has always given priority to quality in all their products, to tradition in their recipes, to the acquisition of local mushrooms and truffles and to control in the whole manufacturing process in order to offer the best tinned food to their customers.
The best example of customer loyalty is the fact that a high quality product is always assured. Being a family company makes possible to control the whole process: the purchase of products, the manufacture, preservation, packaging, labelling, traceability, storage, transport and distribution of mushrooms and truffles.
The Obiols family's commitment is not only to offer a quality product, with traditional recipes and following a strict control of the whole manufacturing process, but also to acquire local mushrooms and truffles, since the location of the company in the Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida gives easier access to the selection of the product, always opting for local products and of top quality.
